You fight sideways. Your anger arrives as distance, silence, or a short answer, and sometimes you are the last one to notice it was anger.

## What it looks like in a life

You cannot ask for the raise for yourself, and you would walk through a wall for your kid, your sister, or your friend. You take things personally that were never aimed at you, and you carry them for days. When you are hurt you do not confront, you withdraw, and the withdrawal is loud in its own way. You act when the mood is right and stall when it is not, and you have learned to call that laziness when it is really timing. You defend your home, your people, and your privacy. ## The gift

Nobody fights harder for their people. Your drive is protective, so it does not run out when it matters and it does not need an audience. You also feel the shift in a room before anything visible happens, which means you move before the trouble lands. Courage that comes from love outlasts courage that comes from pride.

## The friction

You will not say the angry thing, so it leaks. Short answers, sudden cold, the grievance brought up three weeks later. You avoid the confrontation and then replay it alone at night, winning it in your head. The self-directed version is worse: the force you will not point outward gets pointed at yourself. Say it in the room. It is smaller out loud than it is inside you.

## The esoteric layer

In the Hellenistic system Mars is in fall in Cancer, the Moon's own sign, cardinal water. The old reading was blunt: heat drowned, the soldier standing in the nursery. Later Greek astrotheology called Cancer the Gate of Men, where souls were said to descend into bodies, and Bailey's esoteric astrology gives the sign Neptune as its soul ruler, turning herd instinct into wide compassion. Bailey also calls Mars the battlefield of the desire nature. Here that battlefield is interior. The work is letting feeling become action instead of weather.
