Your irritation comes out as small corrections aimed at the people closest to you, who did not ask and did not do anything wrong. You will redo four hours of work over a detail nobody else would ever see. You are useful in a crisis because you already ran the checklist.

## The gift

Skill plus effort, which is rarer than either one alone. You build real competence instead of talking about it, and you can hold a long, detailed, unglamorous task all the way to the end without losing accuracy. When you commit to serving something, the service is actual and not symbolic. People rely on you because you earned it in the details.

## The friction

Perfect is where your energy hides. As long as it is unfinished it cannot be judged, and you get to call the delay diligence. The criticism you run on yourself is constant, and past a point it does not improve the work, it just makes the work heavier. Then it leaks outward as nitpicking. Done, then better. That order.

## The esoteric layer

Mars has no traditional dignity in Virgo. Hellenistic practice reads it as Mars in Mercury's own sign, mutable earth, the constellation Babylon called the Furrow, where the grain goddess holds the ear of wheat. The sign's business is separating wheat from chaff, so drive here becomes discrimination. Bailey's esoteric astrology reads Virgo as matter gestating the Christ-principle, with the form nature veiling Vulcan, the will that shapes material. That is the use for this Mars. Not policing the flaw. Working the material.
