## The hook

You knew. You just could not prove it, so you said nothing and watched it happen.

## What it looks like in a life

You need real solitude to think, and people take that personally. You get the answer in the shower, on the edge of sleep, in the middle of a walk, never in the meeting where it was needed. You keep most of your thoughts to yourself, then are surprised nobody knows them. You were called quiet, or a daydreamer, in school reports you still remember. You read in the dark. You hear the thing under a conversation and cannot always source how you know. You write privately and delete it. And you second-guess a perception that turns out, months later, to have been exactly right.

## The gift

You pick up what is not being said, and you are right more often than you let yourself count. Your imagination works without permission, so images and answers arrive whole. You can sit with someone in a bad hour and say the one sentence that helps. And you think in symbols, which is the native language of dreams, art, and this entire practice.

## The friction

You let sharper talkers overrule what you already knew. The thought never fully surfaces, so it runs the day from underneath as a mood you cannot name. You replay conversations at two in the morning, arguing a case you will never deliver. And you use fog as protection: staying vague keeps you safe from being wrong, and from being known.

## The esoteric layer

In the Hellenistic system the twelfth place was called Bad Spirit, and it was the joy of Saturn: confinement, hidden enemies, what works on a life out of sight. Mercury there is the messenger sent into the part of the chart nobody can see from the Ascendant. The tradition attaches the archangel Raphael to Mercury, the name meaning God heals, and this house is where that meaning stops being decorative. The mind that goes into the dark and brings back language is doing the oldest healing work there is. Naming the thing is the medicine.
