## What it looks like in a life

Neptune and Pluto have held near sixty degrees apart since about 1942, and they stay in range until the early 2030s. That is the longest aspect in the chart, and it belongs to almost every living person. Read alone, it tells you nothing. It becomes personal only when your Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Ascendant, or Midheaven contacts one of the two planets, and then the pairing gets a voice. It shows up as a background willingness to let things die and let things blur: you can lose an identity, a belief, or a version of your life and find the loss did not destroy you. That capacity is available to almost everyone alive, and most people never call on it.

## The gift

The dissolving and the ending work together instead of against each other. Neptune softens the edges of what you thought you were and Pluto removes what is no longer alive, and because the aspect is a sextile, the process does not have to be violent.
