## The hook

You know how to be respected. Being at home in your own house is the harder skill.

## What it looks like in a life

You have been working since you were young, and the working is where you go when something hurts. You measure the week in output. Your house is a place you sleep between efforts, not a place you live. You answer questions about yourself with your resume. There was a parent whose approval set the terms, and you have either chased it or run from it. You are strange on a day off. You are uneasy at family dinners and busy enough to miss most of them. And the hours you would actually call good, if you are honest, happened at a kitchen table with the phone face down, not on a stage.

## The gift

You know how to build and finish. That competence does not disappear when you turn toward home. It becomes a family that is actually held, a house that actually runs, a private life with structure under it. Most people who are good at feeling are not good at building. You can do both, in that order.

## The friction

Rest reads as falling behind, so you fill the quiet before it can tell you anything. You take care of everyone by providing for them, which is real and is not the same as being present. The private feelings pile up unattended until they come out sideways. And you keep reaching for the next recognition, hoping it lands somewhere in you that only home can reach.

## The esoteric layer

The nodes sit where the Moon's orbit cuts the ecliptic, the only places an eclipse can happen. In the Hellenistic material they work as points of increase and decrease, the ascending node adding to what it touches and the descending node taking from it. The later tradition called them the Dragon's Head and Tail. Reading the North Node as the direction of growth is modern and should be named as modern. Set against the old structure of the chart, this one is clear. The fourth is the root, and the tenth grows out of it, not the other way around.
