What it looks like in a life
Jupiter squares Pluto twice inside their thirteen-year cycle, so everyone born in those months carries it; the houses and the contacts to your personal planets make it yours. You go after the big target: the institution, the industry, the family pattern. Your sense of mission does not shrink when you are told to be reasonable. Power struggles find you, especially with anyone holding authority over what you believe. You can be relentless in a way that unsettles people who like you. The gift

The friction
The loop is conviction, force, resistance, escalation. You mistake intensity for rightness. Then comes the collapse, which you read as persecution rather than as the bill. Fanaticism is the risk here, and it never feels like fanaticism from the inside.
The esoteric layer
Pluto was discovered in 1930, so no ancient tradition addresses it. Jupiter alone is the classical greater benefic. What follows is Bailey and modern. Four is the number of matter, the cross of incarnation in the older texts, and Bailey's esoteric astrology reads the crosses as process and points of crisis, the part of the chart where the work actually happens. Bailey's Pluto is the destroyer aspect of the first ray: it kills what is finished. A square makes that a repeating event rather than a single one.
