You absorb what everyone around you feels, and most of it was never yours. Nobody warned you that this was a skill and a wound at the same time.
What it looks like in a life
You walk into a house and know what happened in it. You give people the benefit of the doubt long past the point where the evidence ran out. You lose time to music, water, film, sleep, or anything that lets the edges soften. Deadlines and schedules feel like something happening to someone else. You have talked yourself out of your own certainty more than once because it came without reasons. You take in other people's moods and then wonder why you are exhausted. You forgive early, sometimes before the person has stopped. When something hurts, you go somewhere else in your head, and you have been doing it so long you barely notice the exit.
The gift
You sense what people cannot say and you meet them there without needing it explained. Your compassion reaches places logic never gets to. You make art, or comfort, or atmosphere out of raw feeling, and it lands on people who thought they were fine. And you can hold contradiction without needing it resolved, which is a form of intelligence most people do not have.
The friction
When it hurts, you drift, and the drifting works just well enough that you never build the boundary. You take responsibility for feelings that belong to other people. You let things go on too long because ending them would require a hardness you do not want to own. And the escape hatch is always available, in whatever form you use.
The esoteric layer
In the Hellenistic system Pisces is mutable water traditionally ruled by Jupiter, with Venus exalted here and Mercury in fall, because analysis drowns in this sign. The Babylonian image is two bound creatures, later the two fish tied by a cord so they cannot lose each other. Bailey's esoteric astrology reads them as soul and form on one line, and gives Pisces Pluto as its deeper ruler: the last claim of the separate self gets dissolved. The soul keynote has the savior leaving home, turning back, and saving. The mediator becomes the mediation.
Where this goes
The house your Sun sits in says where the boundary keeps dissolving, and the rest of the chart draws the line between your feelings and everyone else's. That is the first thing a full natal reading looks at.
