You can explain yourself well when you choose to. The question is how often you decide it is not worth the effort.
What it looks like in a life
In a hard conversation you find the sentence that lowers the temperature. You are the one who says what the group is actually arguing about. Writing steadies you, so journals and long voice memos work when you use them, and you go months without touching either. You can talk about your childhood without falling into it. You are good at telling people bad news. When you are upset you can still describe the upset, which most people cannot do, and which makes you easy to help. You also let things sit unsaid for weeks because opening the subject seems like more work than living with it.
The gift
You can feel something and think about it at the same time without either one collapsing. That is rare. It makes you steady inside other people's crises, because you take in the emotional facts and still form a sentence. This is the aspect of the nurse, the editor and the manager who can explain a complicated thing to a frightened person without flattening them.
The friction
Nothing forces you to use it. The connection runs smoothly enough to be invisible, so you assume everyone can do this and you underuse a real skill. When you are avoiding something you are eloquent about avoiding it, which sounds like self-awareness and works like a delay. Understanding a pattern is not the same as changing it.
The esoteric layer
Ptolemy built the aspects on what he called familiarity: signs in sextile share the same polarity, so the two planets recognize each other instead of merging. The number carries the same message. Six is two times three, harmony assembled out of difference, which the old numerology reads as opportunity rather than gift. Bailey's esoteric astrology calls the sextile the aspect of practice, skill built in this life instead of inherited from the last. So an instinctual Moon and a messenger Mercury are on speaking terms here. The speaking is still up to you.
