You adjust. You read what somebody needs and become the version of yourself that fits, and you are so practiced at it that you no longer notice you are doing it. You cannot pick the restaurant, because both answers are fine and neither one is yours. Your space looks good, and visual disorder actually bothers you. You avoid the argument in the room and then run it alone in the car. You have stayed in relationships whose ending you could already see, because leaving would make you the one who caused the pain. Money goes toward beauty and toward other people.
The gift
You know how to hold a relationship in balance without force. You apologize well, you listen properly, and you can sit across from someone who disagrees with you without raising the temperature. You can carry two truths at once and not need a villain. That skill runs entire marriages, and most people never develop it.
The friction
You trade your real want for peace, then resent the person who accepted the trade. Since you never said the want out loud, the resentment has nowhere honest to go, so it arrives sideways, months later, over something small. Agreeable is not the same as kind. Only one of them requires you to actually be in the room.
The esoteric layer
In the Hellenistic system Libra is Venus's day house, and the only sign in the zodiac whose symbol is not alive: the Scales of Shamash, god of justice. Saturn is exalted here and the Sun is in fall, which is the older way of saying the self yields to the other.
