Traditional astrology gave Pisces to Jupiter. Neptune's rulership of the sign is modern, assigned after the planet was discovered in 1846, so anyone calling it ancient is wrong. Bailey's esoteric astrology calls Neptune sacred and places it on the sixth ray of devotion, then hands Pisces itself to Pluto at the soul level: the last death of the separate self before the keynote "I leave the Father's home, and turning back, I save." Pisces dissolves the old year's forms so Aries can erupt. Neptune here is the dissolving, done on purpose.
Where this goes
