What it looks like in a life
Pluto crossed Sagittarius from 1995 to 2008, so it belongs to everyone born in those thirteen years, and the house it sits in is what makes it yours. In one life it looks like this: you have already lost a worldview. A religion you were raised in, a political certainty, a teacher you believed in. Something collapsed and took a version of you with it. You cannot hold a belief lightly. The friction
Conviction turns into crusade. You would rather convert somebody than sit in not knowing, so the new certainty gets built before the grief is finished. You treat other people's beliefs as problems to be solved. And you start looking for the next big truth the moment the current one turns ordinary, which is how a life fills up with beginnings.
The esoteric layer
The Greeks named Sagittarius and never heard of Pluto, which was discovered in 1930. Every reading of this pair is modern or Bailey's. Bailey calls Pluto non-sacred and gives it the destroyer aspect of the first ray, the will that ends what the soul is finished with. Sagittarius she reads as one-pointed direction, the many desires fused into a single aim, ruled by Jupiter and at the soul level by the Earth, which is her correction: the goal is not up there, it gets ridden into the ground of an actual life. Pluto here kills every aim that was borrowed.
Where this goes
