What it looks like in a life
There was heat in the house you grew up in. Maybe it was loud, maybe it was a door closing hard and three days of silence, but you learned to read a room's temperature before you could read words. You do your fighting indoors, with family, late at night. You work on the house, move a lot, or renovate the same rooms twice. And you get angry at home in a way the people at your job would not recognize.
The gift
You will defend your people without a second of hesitation. You build a home instead of inheriting one, and you have the energy to keep rebuilding it. Privacy is not avoidance for you, it is where your power recharges. You also carry a real instinct for who is safe and who is not, learned young, and it has kept you out of rooms you had no business being in.
The friction
The anger goes where it is least deserved, which is usually toward whoever is closest and least likely to leave. You can be composed all day and come apart at your own front door. Old family scripts run you before you notice them starting. And you confuse a house that is quiet with a house that is peaceful, so nothing gets said until it detonates.
The esoteric layer
