The most intense people in your life keep finding you. That is not bad luck. That force is yours, and you handed it to someone else to hold.
What it looks like in a life
You attract people who are controlling, or you become controlling with someone who is soft, and the roles can trade across a lifetime. Relationships run hot: merging fast, then a struggle about who holds the power, then a cutoff. One of your parents was overwhelming, or one was overwhelmed, and you learned the shape of that seesaw before you could speak. You either share nothing or you share everything at once. Pluto holds a sign for a decade or two, so its sign is your whole generation's. The opposition to your Moon is what makes it personal, and it plays out across the table from you.
The gift
You do not do surface relationships, and the ones you have go somewhere most people never reach. Oppositions teach through the other person, so every hard relationship has handed you a piece of yourself you could not see alone. You can survive an ending. That is not a small thing. And once you stop projecting the power, you become extremely hard to manipulate, because you recognize the move on sight.
The friction
You give someone else the strength and then fight them for it. You call them intense, controlling, too much, and the description fits you just as well from the other side. Closeness triggers the fear of being consumed, so you merge and then run, and both moves feel like survival. The endings are total. You delete people, and some of them were never the problem.
The esoteric layer
The esoteric tradition reads the opposition with full-Moon logic: you only see the thing by standing across from it, and the tension holds until a third point reconciles the two ends. Pluto is modern, found in 1930, and Bailey's system assigns it the destroyer aspect of the first ray, the will that ends what the soul is done with. Across from the Moon, which she calls the past, that will keeps arriving through other people. The reconciling point is owning the force yourself, so it stops walking in through the front door wearing somebody else's face.
Where this goes
The houses these two sit in say which part of your life keeps getting fought over and where the original imbalance was learned. That is exactly what a therapeutic astrology session takes apart.
