You knew the answer. You just could not show the work, so you let someone louder be right.
What it looks like in a life
You remember a conversation as a picture, not a transcript. You know something is off about a person years before the evidence arrives. Instructions slide off you, but show you once and you have it. You speak in images and half-sentences, and the people who know you follow it fine. You write better than you argue, because writing gives the fog time to settle. Facts and dates blur, and you have been made to feel stupid about that by people who could not read a room to save their lives. Music, water, driving, the shower: that is where your real thinking happens, not at a desk.
The gift
You take in what people mean underneath what they say, and you are usually right about it. Your best thinking arrives complete, as image and feeling, and it comes from further out than reasoning could reach. You can sit with an open question without forcing an answer, a discipline most sharp minds never build. People feel understood around you without much being said.
The friction
Without structure the knowing stays fog. You sense the truth, let a more confident talker overwrite it, and find out six months later that you were right. Deadlines and details slip because the mind resists edges. And you will drift toward the comfortable story about a person and call that compassion when it is avoidance.
The esoteric layer
In the Hellenistic system Mercury is both in detriment and in fall in Pisces, the only sign where it takes both. The old reading is blunt: analysis drowns here. Venus is exalted in the same sign, which tells you what the water is actually for. Pisces is the dissolving end of the year, and Bailey's esoteric astrology gives it Pluto as soul ruler, breaking the last claim of the separate self. Mercury was always the boundary-crosser. In Pisces he is not weakened. He is out of his usual clothes.
Where this goes
The house this Mercury sits in says where the knowing comes through, and Saturn's placement says what could give it structure. A teaching session shows you how to build that scaffolding.
