What it looks like in a life
Saturn moves through a sign in about two and a half years, so this is shared with the people born around you. The house it landed in is where the leaking happens. You absorb a room's mood and carry it home as though it were yours. You lose hours to sleep, screens, a drink, a daydream, anything that takes the edge off the formless thing asking to be felt. The gift

Your faith, when it arrives, is not borrowed. It was tested by real suffering, which is why it holds. You make something worth keeping out of material that would have flattened someone else.
The friction
Escape is the reflex, and it moves fast enough that you often do not catch it happening. You take responsibility for feelings that were never yours and call it empathy. You let the boundary go until resentment does the enforcing, then cut someone off completely. And you keep waiting to feel ready before you build the structure, when the structure is the thing that makes you feel ready.
The esoteric layer
In the Hellenistic system Pisces belongs to Jupiter, with Venus exalted there and Mercury in fall, which says plainly that analysis drowns in these waters. Saturn holds no dignity here: the planet of hard edges set in the sign of dissolution. Pisces is the two bound fishes of the Babylonian and Greek stories, tied together so they cannot lose each other. Bailey's esoteric astrology gives the sign Pluto at the soul tier and the keynote "I leave the Father's home, and turning back, I save." Saturn supplies the form the mercy needs.
