This opposition ran through 2006 to 2007 and before that through 1971 to 1972, so it marks a cohort. The house axis it crosses and its aspects to your personal planets are what make it individual. In practice you hold a tight, responsible life and one area with no floor in it: a relationship, a substance, a belief, a person you keep rescuing. Or the reverse, where you float everywhere and enforce one rule with unreasonable force. You attract people who are either far more dissolved than you or far more rigid, and you argue with them about the half you are not carrying.
The gift
The opposition makes you conscious. Because the conflict keeps showing up outside you, you eventually see both ends clearly, and that makes you unusually good at knowing when someone needs structure and when they need mercy. You can tell the difference in other people long before you can apply it to yourself, and that is still a real skill with real value.
The friction
Exhaustion is the tell. You over-give in the open area and over-control in the closed one, and both drain the same account. The private cost is a chronic tiredness with no medical explanation and a slow erosion of trust in your own perception, because you keep being right about the world and wrong about yourself. Guilt does most of the steering, and guilt steers badly.
