You have loved someone who was not quite there. You saw something real in them. You just saw it far too early.
What it looks like in a life
Every person born in that stretch has the sign, so the house is where it becomes yours. In the 7th it is a marriage built on a projection, often with a partner who is an artist, a believer, an addict, or a rescuer. In the 5th it is romance that plays like a film until the credits. In the 11th it is a circle of friends you idealise and slowly outgrow. Aspects tell you how deep the pull runs. Neptune on Venus makes love and devotion the same act. Neptune on Mars means you wait to be chosen instead of saying what you want, then resent the outcome quietly.
The gift
You see the best in a person before they can see it, and some of them grow into it precisely because you saw it. You feel the fair outcome before anyone can argue it into words. Put in a room with two people who cannot hear each other, you can usually find the sentence that lets them try again.
The friction
You fall for your own projection, then feel betrayed when the actual person turns up underneath it. Peace becomes the thing you buy at any price, so you give ground you needed, smile, and go quiet. Compromise and dissolving stop looking different. Somewhere in there you lose the ability to say plainly what you would like, which is the one thing that would have worked.
The esoteric layer
Neptune was discovered in 1846, so no ancient authority ever ruled on it, and the deeper reading here is modern and Bailey's. Modern astrology treats Neptune as the higher octave of Venus, and Libra is Venus's own sign, so the ideal and the relating principle run on one wire. Bailey gives Libra a second ruler for the awakened person, Uranus, and calls the sign the point of balance where real choice becomes possible: "I choose the way which leads between the two great lines of force." Neptune blurs the scales. The work is choosing anyway, with your eyes open.
Where this goes
The house says where you keep handing your ideal to someone else, and your Venus says what you are actually looking for. A full natal reading puts those side by side.
